Staff Professional Services Consultant

About the role

Cribl, a remote-first company building the telemetry infrastructure for the AI era, is hiring a Professional Services Consultant. The role helps customers extract value from their observability data, guiding new customers through their first steps with Cribl and helping established customers find more value. The position is remote-first, with work across many time zones and occasional duties outside standard hours.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex customer engagements as the technical authority, covering architecture, design, development, deployment, operationalization and documentation.
• Drive complex deployments of Cribl products alongside customers to solve their unique problems.
• Create learning resources such as best practice documentation, blog posts, runbooks, workshops and customer training materials.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer, enablement, coaching and mentoring for team members, customers and partners.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in technical consulting or big data analytics.
• Proven track record with complex enterprise applications.
• Strong communication with technical staff and executive partners; ability to work independently and remotely.
• Bonus: relevant software industry experience (IT systems, infrastructure management, application development, security or analytics); bonus: ability to travel up to 30%.

Required skills

• Extensive experience deploying and managing AWS, Azure and GCP environments.
• Big data tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Grafana, DataDog, Exabeam and Azure Sentinel.
• Kubernetes, Docker and other automation technologies.
• Unix and Windows command lines and GUIs.
• Scripting with JavaScript.
