About the role

Sunmarke School is looking for a STEAM Computing Teacher to join its innovative, values‑based education programme. The role involves delivering computing and STEAM learning from the Foundation Stage through Year 9, supporting the school’s Positive Education philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging STEAM computing lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Integrate augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) experiences into classroom activities.
• Utilise artificial intelligence tools to enhance student learning and assessment.
• Support sustainability projects, including the use of hydroponic technology.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create real‑world problem‑solving opportunities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback that fosters a growth mindset.

Required profile

• Passion for Positive Education and character‑building teaching approaches.
• Experience teaching computing or related subjects to primary or secondary students.
• Ability to engage learners actively and encourage innovative thinking.
