Steward – Hotel Food & Beverage

About the role

The Steward will deliver courteous, professional and flexible service within the Food & Beverage division of Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort. You will work in a team‑oriented environment, rotating across sub‑departments as needed to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient service in line with hotel performance standards.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for assigned areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans and kitchen utensils using established performance standards.
• Operate dishwashing machines and follow cleaning procedures.
• Monitor supplies, reduce spoilage and manage waste.
• Empty rubbish bins according to the garbage schedule.
• Support the Chief Steward and Stewarding Supervisor with any reasonable tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in stewarding or a similar hospitality role.
• Ability to work flexible hours and rotate across different departments.
• Good understanding of HACCP procedures and their purpose.
• Strong teamwork orientation and willingness to follow established procedures.
