Steward – Kitchen Cleaning & Dishwashing

About the role

The Steward will operate and maintain cleaning equipment in the kitchen and store areas, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and surfaces are properly washed, disinfected, and stored. This full‑time position is based at Al Bateen Marina, Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Operate dish washing machines, hand wash stations, pot‑scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment using detergents and sanitising chemicals.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables, rotate stock, and ensure clean wares are stored correctly.
• Use the 3‑compartment sink to clean dishes, inspect and re‑wash items as needed.
• Break down dirty bus tubs, empty trashcans, and maintain dumpster areas.
• Clean and mop assigned department areas, dispose of glass and recyclables properly.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach overhead for extended periods.
• Willingness to follow company safety policies and report hazards.
