About the role
The Steward provides essential kitchen support within the hotel, ensuring clean and ready dining ware, linen, and equipment for guests. This role involves maintaining hygiene standards, operating cleaning machinery, and assisting various food‑and‑beverage areas.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and prepare linen, dining ware, and kitchen tools for guest use.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and other cleaning equipment.
- Transport dishware and supplies between kitchen, service areas, and employee dining rooms.
- Follow company safety, security, and uniform policies and report any hazards.
Required profile
- No specific education requirement (high school diploma or GED not mandatory).
- No prior related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
Required skills
- Dishwashing machine operation.
- Hand wash station usage.
- Ability to transport and handle dishware safely.
