Stewarding Associate

About the role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is hiring a full-time Stewarding Associate in Sharjah (Al Muntazah Street) within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category. The role supports several vital hotel functions, such as the kitchen, food and beverage and laundry, and is a non-management position.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools such as dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens across the hotel.
• Follow company policies and procedures, uphold quality standards and ensure a safe workplace.
• Maintain positive working relationships with other employees and departments and help the team reach common goals.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Move, lift, carry, push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, stand, sit or walk for long periods, and reach overhead and below the knees.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• No related work experience or supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.
