Stewarding Shift Leader – Hotel Operations

About the role

As a Stewarding Shift Leader at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Sharjah, you will oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance operations that support the hotel’s food‑and‑beverage, kitchen, laundry and guest areas. You will ensure that all linen, dishware and equipment are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation, while fostering a safe and collaborative workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain quality expectations and standards for all stewarding activities.
• Develop and sustain positive working relationships with other departments.
• Support the team in achieving common goals and respond to employee concerns.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to management promptly.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
• Move, lift and transport items up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Stand, walk or sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting and reaching.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
