Stewarding Supervisor

About the role

The Stewarding Supervisor leads the stewarding team at SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences, ensuring all food‑and‑beverage areas maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and equipment functionality. Reporting to the F&B Director, you will coordinate daily operations, manage inventory, and support banquet and catering services in a luxury 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain hygienic cleanliness of all working areas, equipment and staff cafeteria.
• Conduct monthly inventory of operating equipment, monitor breakage and losses.
• Initiate requisition of cleaning materials and supplies while preventing waste.
• Schedule daily, weekly and periodic cleaning of food production outlets and equipment.
• Oversee chemical consumption, dish‑washing machine maintenance and equipment release for banquets.
• Set audit and inspection schedules for F&B areas and coordinate with Engineering for machinery upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with fire, hygiene and safety policies.
• Evaluate and coach stewarding personnel, manage rosters, overtime and disciplinary actions.
• Represent the hotel in community projects and municipal food‑hygiene meetings.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of management experience in an accredited restaurant or hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, fire safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to maintain a high standard of personal appearance and professional conduct.
• Effective communication with guests, partners and internal teams.
