About the role
The Stock Coordinator ensures smooth flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor, maintaining accurate stock levels and high standards of organization within a retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, count, and inspect merchandise both physically and electronically.
- Report damaged or discrepant items to store management.
- Store and handle merchandise properly to prevent damage.
- Classify, stock, and tag products according to store procedures.
- Assist sales staff in replenishing shelves and ensure product availability.
- Maintain vigilance over store security and uphold housekeeping standards.
- Record inventory movements and generate related reports.
- Check for missing price tags and support stock‑take processes.
Required profile
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Previous experience in stock, warehouse, or logistics roles preferred.
- Physically fit, capable of lifting up to 10 kg and handling extended hours during sales or festival periods.
