Store Manager

About the role

As a Store Manager at Thepetshopboys in Abu Dhabi, you will lead daily store operations, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for pet owners while driving sales and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee opening and closing procedures and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products.
• Implement store policies, procedures, and visual standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve inquiries or complaints.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise store staff, conducting performance evaluations.
• Drive sales through effective merchandising, promotions, and data‑driven decisions.
• Handle cash management, budgeting, and financial reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and animal welfare regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of retail management experience, preferably in the pet industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or related field is a plus.
• Proven track record of operational management and sales growth.
• Strong leadership, people management and organizational skills.
