Storekeeper – Hotel Inventory & Procurement

About the role

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the hotel's stores, inventory, deliveries, and stock movements, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, issuance, and recording of goods in line with Rixos Hotels' standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, record, and distribute all incoming and outgoing goods to appropriate departments and storage areas.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, deliveries, issues, and returns.
• Control central stores, ensuring proper storage, handling, and issuance of goods.
• Process orders through the hotel's online procurement system and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure accurate stock records.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety requirements for all products.
• Monitor and approve beverage, stewarding, equipment, and outlet stock issues.
• Support recipe costing by updating purchase prices and assisting with menu costing.
• Conduct yield tests for meat, fish, juices, and other products to aid cost control.
• Collaborate with F&B, Purchasing, Cost Control, and other departments for smooth store operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory, Receiving, Cost Control or similar role, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• High school diploma or relevant vocational qualification; hospitality, supply chain or procurement qualification is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of stock control, inventory management, receiving and issuing procedures, and cost control.
