Storekeeper

About the role

The Storekeeper supports hotel operations by receiving, staging, and distributing merchandise across all departments. This position ensures inventory accuracy, food safety, and a clean storage environment while collaborating with team members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, marking items for proper placement.
• Stack received goods on pallets or carts and deliver them to the appropriate areas.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, notifying supervisors of low stock.
• Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality; reject damaged or incorrect items.
• Store perishables correctly, rotate stock, and maintain food‑safety standards.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
