Storekeeper – Retail Stock Management

About the role

The Storekeeper will oversee daily stockroom operations for a busy supermarket, ensuring accurate inventory records, product quality, and timely distribution to store branches. This role is essential for maintaining efficient stock flow and supporting the retail team.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and log incoming merchandise against delivery orders.
• Organise inventory, verify product condition, quality, and expiration dates.
• Prepare, pack, and dispatch stock to designated supermarket branches.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts, audits, and reconcile inventory ledgers.
• Maintain a clean, safe storage environment while applying FIFO stock control procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Storekeeper in a supermarket or retail environment.
• Immediate availability to work in the UAE.
• Strong organisational abilities, clear communication, and high physical fitness.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• FIFO inventory control knowledge.
• Familiarity with inventory management procedures.
