Strategic Finance Manager

About the role

OpenOpen.cx is scaling its AI‑native customer support platform and needs a Strategic Finance Manager to build a robust financial foundation. You will transform ad‑hoc spreadsheets into a single source of truth for revenue, cash, burn, runway and unit economics, supporting leadership and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Map current money flows, clean up the chart of accounts and compress month‑end close to ≤5 business days.
• Design and maintain weekly metrics emails and monthly board packs.
• Choose and implement the finance stack (e.g., NetSuite or QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Maxio, Brex/Ramp/Pleo, Pigment/Cube/Mosaic).
• Build and run a weekly forecast model, diagnose unit economics and CAC payback.
• Lead Series A financial modeling, data‑room preparation, diligence and term‑sheet review.
• Set up multi‑entity consolidation for EU/US subsidiaries and ensure ASC 606 compliance.
• Establish board cadence, investor reporting and audit readiness for future funding rounds.
• Partner with the CEO on geographic expansion, M&A signals and pricing strategy.

Required profile

• Player‑coach mindset: comfortable building models and presenting to senior investors.
• First‑principles thinker who can bring order to fragmented financial systems.
• Willingness to own end‑to‑end finance processes for at least 12 months.
