About the role

ai71 builds enterprise-grade AI for governments, banks and large enterprises, with its flagship product Ask, an agentic AI platform. This is a new role for someone with a strong technical foundation, operator instincts and analyst rigour, working closely with the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) to turn his priorities into shipped work. The remit covers initiatives you own end to end, the operating cadence of product and technology, and the day-to-day running of the office.

Key responsibilities

• Own two or three CPTO-sponsored initiatives at a time, from problem definition to a dated outcome, turning early ideas into decision-ready proposals and taking approved ones into execution
• Run the weekly leadership meeting, monthly business review, quarterly and annual planning, and track decisions, owners and dates to closure
• Maintain the metrics view (delivery, deployments, usage, agent quality, hiring and spend) and coordinate product and technology input to CEO and board reporting
• Partner daily with the Heads of Product and BizOps and the leads of Engineering, Design, TPM, Deployments and Commercial, keeping priorities aligned and joining key customer and partner conversations
• Prepare the CPTO for important meetings, draft and edit leadership updates, all-hands material, board papers and external talks, and triage requests for the CPTO's time
• Support hiring for key roles, handle sensitive people, customer and board matters with discretion, and pick up special projects

Required profile

• 2 to 6 years of experience with a technical background (CS or engineering degree, or time as a software, data or ML engineer)
• Previous work in strategy consulting, product or programme management, a forward-deployed role, operations at a scaling technology company, or something you founded
• Experience with enterprise, regulated or public-sector buyers preferred; experience in the Middle East or Africa, LLM products or agents, and a previous chief-of-staff role are also preferred
• Ability to hold your own in architecture conversations, including on evals, latency and cost

Required skills

• Data: SQL or Python, a financial model, reading results independently
• Clear, brief writing in English; French and Arabic are a plus
