Structural QA/QC Engineer – Quality Assurance & Control

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Structural QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance and control activities on our construction projects in Dubai. The role involves monitoring contractor compliance, conducting inspections, and ensuring all structural works meet approved drawings, specifications, and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect on‑site structural works including excavation, foundations, concrete, reinforcement, and steel.
• Review and verify contractor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality control procedures.
• Witness and validate field and laboratory tests such as concrete slump, compressive strength, reinforcement, and weld inspections.
• Prepare and submit quality status reports, manage NCRs, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and the client to ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority requirements, and international codes (ACI, ASTM, BS, Eurocodes, UAE regulations).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 6–10 years of QA/QC experience in building construction, with at least 3–5 years focused on structural works.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations, and related inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and relevant UAE regulations; certifications such as CSWIP, BGAS, or Lead Auditor are a plus.
