Structural Site Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Site Engineer to lead the on‑site structural team for our projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves ensuring that all structural works meet design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations while coordinating closely with contractors and other disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the on‑site structural engineering team, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety protocols.
• Coordinate daily structural activities with contractors and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
• Conduct regular inspections of foundations, columns, beams, slabs and other structural elements to verify compliance with codes and standards.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures for materials and workmanship, preventing defects.
• Perform additional structural calculations and provide technical guidance to ensure safe construction methods.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and other engineering disciplines to align structural work with overall project goals.
• Prepare and contribute to monthly progress reports as directed by the Resident Engineer.
• Maintain detailed site documentation, including daily reports, inspection records and non‑compliance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in structural engineering with proven site supervision experience, preferably on building or airport projects.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, codes and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
