Structural/Bridges Inspector (Tagalog Speaker)

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is looking for a Structural/Bridges Inspector with extensive hands-on experience supervising the construction of long-span prestressed bridges and large-diameter pile foundations. The inspector ensures compliance with design specifications, approved construction methods and contract requirements while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The position is full time and requires willingness to relocate to Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect site conditions to confirm suitability for the designed permanent works.
• Monitor and inspect construction and temporary works against approved methods and contractual requirements.
• Provide practical advice on construction matters to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, executed works and project documentation.
• Supervise and direct other inspectors to meet performance standards and project requirements.
• Assist in measuring completed work for progress verification and billing, and support the preparation and review of as-built drawings.
• Enforce site safety procedures at all times.
• Inspect completed works, prepare snag lists and assist in handover to the operating authority.

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in bridge and interchange construction or operation and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with contractors, inspectors and engineers.
• Solid understanding of construction site safety procedures and regulations.
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai.
