Student Intern - Office of Student Research

About the role

The Office of Student Research (OSR) at Middlesex University Dubai is looking for a motivated and organised Student Intern to support its work and initiatives. The role gives students practical experience in research support, academic administration and project coordination, working closely with the OSR faculty team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with research-related tasks and projects
• Support data collection, entry, organisation and preliminary analysis
• Help with administrative and operational activities of the OSR
• Support preparation of reports, presentations, promotional materials and other research outputs
• Carry out desk-based and online research tasks
• Maintain records and documentation related to OSR activities
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the OSR faculty team

Required profile

• Current undergraduate students in their second or third year, or postgraduate students
• Strong academic performance
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Reliability and professionalism
• An interest in research and academic development

Interns are expected to work professionally and collaboratively with the OSR team, maintain confidentiality where required, complete tasks within agreed timelines, submit updates or logs of completed work where requested, and follow university policies and procedures.
