Student Internship – Architecture & Interior Design

About the role

As a full‑time paid student intern in Gensler’s UAE office, you will join a collaborative design environment for a minimum of three months, working on architecture and interior design projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in design charrettes and team meetings.
• Contribute to project development from concept to delivery.
• Attend educational sessions, lunch‑and‑learns, and mentorship activities.
• Support documentation and presentation preparation.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Completed at least third year of undergraduate or first year of graduate studies.
• Returning to program after internship and graduating within one year.
• Portfolio (PDF, 2‑4 samples) demonstrating design process and innovative solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit (required).
• Experience with AutoCAD, BIM modeling software (a plus).
• Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• 3D rendering tools such as SketchUp, 3ds Max or similar.
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Hand sketching ability (a plus).
