Student Recruitment and Admissions Specialist

About the role

The Student Recruitment and Admissions Officer implements student recruitment plans to meet undergraduate recruitment targets. The role covers admission criteria and application processing, the execution of outreach plans, and the management of applicant records and offers.

Key responsibilities

• Process qualified applicants' applications and work with the Senior Specialist on the recruitment process
• Evaluate academic records of applicants and document Admissions Committee decisions and offers in the university record system
• Develop reports and presentations on university services and student statistics for the Director of Enrollment
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed for UAE national and international students, and keep student records and admissions information up to date
• Monitor request trackers, follow up on enquiries and missing documents, and handle enquiries by phone, email or in person
• Assist applicants with the online application process and follow up on potential applicants
• Take part in recruitment events, workshops and visits, and prepare campus tours and school-based recruitment sessions
• Maintain the recruitment database and records, and collaborate with departments on event logistics and student onboarding
• Follow information security and confidentiality policies and perform other tasks assigned by the line manager

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration, Management or a related field
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
