Student Success Center Officer

About the role

The Student Success Center Officer supports students in achieving academic progress, engagement, and retention. Working within the Student Success Center, the officer implements early‑alert procedures, coordinates support plans, and collaborates with academic and administrative units to ensure students receive appropriate guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance and identify challenges affecting student academic success.
• Follow up with students showing signs of academic difficulty.
• Implement early‑alert and intervention procedures according to Center policies.
• Develop and monitor individual support plans in coordination with university units.
• Refer students to academic advising, counseling, learning resources, and career services.
• Maintain regular communication to monitor student progress and utilization of support services.
• Assist in orientation, transition programs, workshops, and skill‑development activities.
• Coordinate with colleges and faculty regarding students needing additional support.
• Keep accurate records of cases, programs, and activities; prepare periodic reports.
• Collect feedback, contribute to satisfaction surveys, and support awareness campaigns.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with university policies.
• Support Center events and manage appointments, referrals, and case closures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Psychology, Counseling, Management or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in higher education, student affairs, academic advising, or student support services.
• Preferred additional training in academic advising or student support.
