Subject Matter Expert – Process Engineering

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Process Engineering to lead the deployment, monitoring, and sustainment of its Predictive Analytics and Process Optimisation solutions across the Middle East. The role combines deep process engineering knowledge with expertise in AI‑driven analytics to deliver measurable improvements in plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end deployment and operationalisation of predictive analytics models.
• Interpret, validate, and translate AI‑generated insights into actionable process improvements.
• Collaborate with customer operations, control rooms, reliability and digital teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Monitor model performance, optimise parameters, and ensure long‑term sustainment.
• Drive measurable gains in throughput, energy efficiency, process stability and production optimisation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in process engineering within oil & gas, energy or related industrial sectors.
• Proven track record of applying predictive analytics and optimisation techniques in an operational environment.
• Strong communication skills to work with cross‑functional customer teams.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and provide strategic recommendations.
