Superintendent Engineer

About the role

Everllence is seeking a Superintendent Engineer to lead after‑sales service teams for its maritime and power‑plant equipment. The role combines technical oversight, customer interaction, and continuous improvement of service processes across a global footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise service engineers, technicians, and work crews delivering maintenance, repairs, and technical support for engines, turbochargers and automation systems.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Plan, monitor and track maintenance projects, comparing planned progress with actual results and applying corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve technical issues quickly and improve customer satisfaction.
• Provide on‑site technical guidance, including travel to customer locations, and conduct repairs on 2‑stroke and 4‑stroke diesel engines.
• Prepare customer reports, participate in educational seminars and maintain thorough documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience with heavy equipment or machinery, preferably in the maritime industry.
• Strong leadership, coordination and team‑management abilities.
• Analytical problem‑solving skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, ethical standards and compliance.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of maritime engines and related systems.
• Experience with turbochargers and automation systems.
• Proficiency in repairing 2‑stroke and 4‑stroke diesel engines.
• Maintenance planning and project tracking.
