Supervisor, Civil Maintenance

About the role

The Supervisor, Civil Maintenance ensures the plant’s civil infrastructure remains reliable, safe, and available for continuous operations. You will lead a team to execute, schedule, and supervise civil maintenance tasks while coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process civil work orders, control backlog, and allocate resources to complete jobs safely and on time.
• Plan, schedule, execute, and supervise civil works to maintain plant reliability and safety.
• Initiate and manage service requests for on‑call contractors during emergencies, planned, and unplanned shutdowns.
• Inspect task progress, generate reports, and ensure quality execution.
• Prepare scopes of work, contracts, cost reports, and participate in negotiations to meet standards and cost effectiveness.
• Contribute to critical maintenance procedures, risk assessments, and root‑cause investigations for major incidents.
• Maintain up‑to‑date maintenance records, fault reports, and logbooks.
• Conduct daily/weekly safety toolbox talks and supervise testing and commissioning of new or modified equipment.
• Monitor material inventory, prepare requisitions, and verify new material specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in civil maintenance within a large industrial setting, preferably oil and gas.
• Proven ability to manage teams, resources, and contractors in a plant environment.
