About the role
Supervise daily EIT installation work and guide field crews to meet approved drawings, quality requirements and construction targets.
Key responsibilities
- Allocate daily work to electrical, instrumentation and telecommunications crews within assigned scope.
- Check approved drawings, materials, tools, access and permits before starting activities.
- Supervise cable trays, pulling, glanding, terminations, equipment installation and instrument hook‑ups as applicable.
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safe work practices and isolation controls.
- Check installation workmanship and request inspections at required hold points.
- Coordinate with adjacent disciplines to avoid clashes and protect completed installations.
- Record quantities, manpower, progress and constraints, and escalate technical issues.
- Support testing teams, punch clearance and completion documentation without unauthorized energisation.
Required profile
- Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation or a related discipline.
- 6+ years in EIT construction.
- At least 2 years supervising field crews.
