Supervisor – Diving Operations

About the role

A competent professional appointed as the Designated Person in Charge (DPIC) for diving operations, responsible for ensuring safe execution of all phases of the dive in compliance with statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑dive inspections and post‑dive briefings to communicate the diving project plan, safety procedures, and any hazards.
• Organise and supervise all air and subsea diving activities according to the approved project plan.
• Monitor surface and underwater conditions, thermal protection, diving equipment, and the physical fitness of dive‑team members, adjusting the plan as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable diving regulations, statutory frameworks, and company HSE policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of experience in offshore diving operations.
• IMCA Air Diving Supervisor or equivalent trade certificate.
• HSE Part 1 or equivalent offshore diver certification.
• Diving First Aid certificate.
• IMCA Dive Medical Technician certification.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Use of PC software associated with diving systems.
• Air mixed‑gas diving techniques.
• Knowledge of subsea installation and equipment specifications.
• Understanding of modern diving operating systems.
