Supervisor - General Ledger

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Supervisor to join its General Ledger team as the resort prepares for its 2027 opening. The role will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies, and help deliver accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and assist with daily general ledger accounting functions, including posting journal entries and maintaining audit‑ready documentation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Manage month‑end closing activities such as accrual tracking, balance‑sheet schedule preparation and account reconciliations.
• Support fixed‑asset processes including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, transfers and physical verification.
• Respond to audit queries and prepare related documentation promptly.
• Collaborate with the GL Manager, Assistant Manager, department heads and external parties (banks, auditors) to meet business objectives.
• Promote a professional, inclusive team environment and ensure subordinates adhere to company grooming standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
