Surveyor – Microtunnelling Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Surveyor to support major micro‑tunnelling and pipeline installation projects across the Middle East. The role involves delivering accurate setting‑out, monitoring and as‑built survey data throughout all phases of the works, working closely with project managers, site engineers and tunnelling teams.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out surveys to control position, line and level of micro‑tunnelling drives, shafts and associated pipeline works.
• Establish, manage and transfer survey control networks throughout the project.
• Maintain tunnel survey control using high‑precision equipment and transfer control between launch shafts, reception shafts and intermediate access points.
• Prepare survey documentation, reports, drawings and as‑built records for client review.
• Monitor tunnel alignment with guidance systems and surveying software, producing daily alignment checks.
• Set out shafts, jacking frames, thrust walls and pipe installation works in coordination with engineers.
• Conduct as‑built surveys, deformation and settlement monitoring as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Surveyor on micro‑tunnelling or similar underground infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work on site in the Middle East and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
