Sustainability Specialist

About the role

Working closely with the Senior Manager – Sustainability, this role ensures the effective integration of sustainability principles into Transmed's operations by supporting data management, compliance, reporting and employee engagement initiatives across all markets. The specialist will assist in executing sustainability projects related to carbon reduction, energy efficiency, waste management and operational sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Support Sustainability Strategy Implementation by executing and coordinating initiatives across all markets, including carbon reduction, energy efficiency, waste management and operational sustainability projects.
• Data Management and Reporting: collect, consolidate and validate sustainability data, maintain tracking tools and dashboards, and collaborate with external consulting partners for ESG reporting.
• Market Engagement & Stakeholder Coordination: work with internal teams, suppliers, NGOs and external partners to facilitate sustainability initiatives, follow up on action plans and ensure timely execution.
• Foster a Culture of Sustainability: organize campaigns, trainings, workshops and employee‑engagement activities, and benchmark Transmed's practices against industry peers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering or a related field; sustainability certification is a plus.
• Prior exposure to sustainability, ESG reporting or environmental compliance through full‑time, part‑time or internship experience.
• Experience in FMCG, supply chain or logistics sectors is advantageous.
• Familiarity with reporting frameworks (GRI, GHG Protocol, CDP, SDGs) and basic understanding of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
