Swimming Pool Technician

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Swimming Pool Technician to join Accor’s Ras Al‑Khaimah property. The role ensures the pool and its surrounding facilities meet the highest standards of water quality, safety and operational efficiency for guests and members.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust water chemistry (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, etc.) using testing kits and analytical equipment.
• Perform daily cleaning of pool surfaces, decks and surrounding areas.
• Inspect, service and troubleshoot filtration systems, pumps and related mechanical equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of water tests, chemical treatments and equipment maintenance.
• Operate chlorination and water‑treatment systems in line with safety regulations.
• Identify equipment faults, carry out repairs or coordinate with maintenance staff.
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety and environmental standards for aquatic facilities.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and manage inventory of chemicals and spare parts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pool maintenance, water treatment or aquatic facility operations.
• Strong knowledge of pool chemistry and water‑quality management.
• Ability to read and interpret water‑testing results and chemical analyses.
• Excellent organizational and record‑keeping abilities.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and lift equipment.
