System Engineer – Canon EMEA

About the role
The System Engineer will service Canon customers in the UAE, both onsite and remotely, delivering implementation, customization, integration and support for printing and document management solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide presales support, conduct technical discovery workshops and validate solutions against customer requirements.
- Install, configure and optimise print management solutions such as uniFLOW, uniFLOW Online and PaperCut.
- Deploy and support document capture, OCR/AI and enterprise content management platforms.
- Lead project delivery, including requirements gathering, testing, training and go‑live support.
- Offer remote and onsite service support, troubleshoot issues, perform health checks and ensure SLA compliance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of IT experience, preferably with consulting exposure.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking and virtualization.
- Excellent customer‑facing communication and ability to manage multiple projects.
Required skills
- Print management: uniFLOW, uniFLOW Online, PaperCut, SafeQ, Equitrac.
- Document management: Kofax, ABBYY FlexiCapture, DocuWare, M‑Files, OpenText, Laserfiche.
- Automation & integration: Power Automate, Nintex, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Adobe Sign, DocuSign, SigniFlow.
- Scripting & APIs: PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, XML, SQL.
- Infrastructure: Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, TCP/IP, SMTP, SSL/TLS, SNMP.
- Virtualisation: VMware, Hyper‑V.
- Cloud: Microsoft 365, Azure AD.
