System Management Specialist – Infrastructure

About the role

The System Management Specialist – Infrastructure ensures the stability, security and continuous improvement of the organization’s server ecosystem. You will work across Windows and Linux platforms, virtualization environments and Microsoft 365 services to keep critical infrastructure running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and harden Windows Server and Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu).
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper‑V and Red Hat virtualization.
• Perform OS‑level patching, backups and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex system‑level performance issues.
• Administer Exchange Online and on‑premises Exchange servers, including mail flow, transport rules and anti‑spam/anti‑phishing policies.
• Monitor Microsoft 365 services, license allocation and overall health.
• Assist in developing and updating IT policies, procedures, strategic and operational plans.
• Support IT governance, infrastructure design, performance monitoring, cloud service integration and firewall management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing Windows and Linux server environments.
• Ability to work with virtualization technologies and Exchange platforms.
• Familiarity with IT governance, policy development and KPI‑driven performance improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for system‑level issues.
