Systems Architect

About the role

The Systems Architect will design, implement, and maintain the bank's critical IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with Emirates NBD standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server and Linux environments, including provisioning, OS upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper‑V.
• Configure and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise servers, storage solutions (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE) and backup platforms (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas NetBackup).
• Support Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructures, monitor systems, and resolve incidents following ITIL processes.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity procedures and ensure compliance with banking regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
• Proven ability to work with enterprise storage and backup solutions.
• Familiarity with ITIL incident, problem, and change management.
• Understanding of security standards and regulatory compliance in the banking sector.
