Talent Acquisition Specialist – UAE

About the role

OBT Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive end‑to‑end recruitment across its UAE and African operations. You will source, attract and hire high‑performing professionals to support the company’s maritime and logistics growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: job posting, strategic sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer negotiation.
• Collaborate with regional HR partners and line managers in Dubai and Africa to define headcount needs.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline of passive candidates for current and future roles.
• Oversee relationships with external agencies and job boards to optimise sourcing channels and recruitment spend.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of full‑cycle recruitment experience, preferably in a fast‑paced corporate or agency environment.
• Proven success recruiting across multiple international regions, especially the UAE and African markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluent English; French or Portuguese is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced headhunting and passive‑candidate sourcing.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Effective use of regional job boards and online sourcing tools.
