Tax Analyst & Compliance Officer – International Tax & VAT

About the role

KOTUG is seeking a Tax Analyst & Compliance Officer to support international tax compliance, statutory reporting and advisory activities across multiple jurisdictions. You will help mitigate tax and compliance risks while ensuring timely filing of corporate tax, VAT and transfer‑pricing documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Support compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT regulations, including transaction‑level analysis, filings and documentation.
• Prepare and submit corporate tax returns, VAT returns and statutory accounts for all relevant jurisdictions.
• Manage multi‑jurisdictional compliance calendars and filing deadlines.
• Assist with intercompany transactions and transfer‑pricing documentation in line with OECD principles.
• Support financial close processes and statutory audits for multinational subsidiaries.
• Provide tax‑efficient structuring advice and respond to queries from non‑tax stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in international tax, statutory reporting or compliance, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Practical knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, UAE VAT and transfer‑pricing rules.
• Exposure to West African tax regimes is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
