Tax Manager

About the role

The Tax Manager will join the Financial Controls Team at Americana Foods and report directly to the Tax Director. This senior position oversees the Group’s tax strategy, compliance and risk management across all jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and align the Group’s direct tax strategy with business objectives and regulatory requirements in every operating jurisdiction.
• Provide technical guidance on cross‑border tax matters, including permanent establishment exposure, treaty application and withholding tax optimisation.
• Lead Pillar Two (GloBE) compliance, model financial impacts, and advise on safe‑harbor and IAS 12 accounting implications.
• Design, implement and maintain a group‑wide transfer pricing policy, review master and local files, and manage audit risk.
• Lead tax workstreams for M&A transactions, including structuring, due diligence, risk quantification and post‑deal integration.
• Monitor global legislative developments, flag risks and opportunities, and advise on tax‑efficient holding and operating structures.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate, international and indirect tax within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of OECD guidelines, Pillar Two (GloBE) rules and IAS 12 accounting standards.
• Proven ability to lead complex tax projects, including M&A and transfer pricing initiatives.
• Excellent analytical skills and the capacity to communicate technical tax concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of direct tax compliance (CIT filings, withholding tax returns, advance tax payments).
• Expertise in Pillar Two (GloBE) modelling and QDMTT analysis.
• Transfer pricing documentation preparation (master file, local file, CbCR) and audit handling.
• Experience with tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructurings.
