Tax Manager - UAE Corporate Tax & VAT

About the role

A highly experienced Tax Manager is sought in Dubai, UAE, with strong expertise in UAE taxation and experience in external audit. The role advises clients, manages tax engagements and ensures regulatory compliance. Face-to-face interviews are mandatory, so candidates must be currently located in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advisory on UAE Corporate Tax, VAT and other applicable taxes
• Manage and review VAT and Corporate Tax registrations, filings and returns
• Handle FTA audits, assessments, objections and clarifications
• Advise clients on tax planning, tax structuring and compliance strategies
• Ensure compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements and deadlines
• Prepare and review tax computation workings and supporting documentation
• Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders
• Manage control actions, IFRS standards and external audit engagements

Required profile

• Minimum 7-10 years of proven experience in taxation and external auditing in the UAE
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Tax Agent experience in the UAE of at least 2 years
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA or UAE Corporate Tax Diploma highly preferred
• Arabic-speaking candidates highly preferred

• Solid understanding of UAE commercial laws and regulatory frameworks
