Tax Officer (VAT & Corporate Tax)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Tax Officer to join a leading organization in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on VAT, Corporate Tax and Excise Tax compliance, supporting the finance team in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support VAT, Corporate Tax and Excise Tax filings.
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and regulations.
• Assist tax, internal and statutory audits.
• Review financial reports and analyse tax implications.
• Help develop tax policies, processes and controls.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and tax authorities as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across reporting processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of tax liabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in VAT and accounting functions.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Tax Diploma or professional certification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
