Tax Technology Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Technology Manager to lead the digital transformation of our tax function. You will combine deep tax knowledge with cutting‑edge technology to design, implement and optimise automated tax solutions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor emerging tax technology trends (ERP tax modules, tax engines, RPA, AI/ML) and recommend solutions that improve compliance and reporting.
• Lead end‑to‑end tax technology projects, coordinating with developers, data analysts and business stakeholders to deliver on time and within scope.
• Evaluate and select third‑party tax technology vendors, manage procurement, implementation and system integration.
• Collaborate with tax, IT and finance teams to drive cross‑functional digital tax initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations for pitch meetings with potential clients.
• Oversee tax technology engagements, assign tasks, monitor progress and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Identify automation opportunities in tax workflows and implement RPA, AI or other tools to increase efficiency.
• Work with large data sets to generate analytics‑driven tax insights and support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing tax technology projects or similar digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of global and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to translate complex tax requirements into functional technical specifications.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge tax professionals and technology teams.
