About the role

GEMS Education is seeking a passionate Islamic Studies Teacher (Level B) to join its world‑class school in Dubai. The successful candidate will create an engaging, inspiring learning environment that nurtures students' spiritual, moral, and personal development while delivering a high‑quality curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess Islamic Studies lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages critical thinking and personal growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Islamic values across the broader educational program.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate outcomes to parents and administration.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Islamic Studies or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed. or equivalent).
• Proven track record of outstanding teaching performance.
• Strong knowledge of the Islamic Studies curriculum.
• Experience teaching in the UAE is an advantage.
• Availability to join on short notice is preferred.
