Teacher - MFL (Spanish) - August 2027

About the role

Aldar Education, the leading education group in Abu Dhabi, is recruiting a Teacher - MFL (Spanish) to join its growing family of schools, starting in August 2027. The role centres on delivering lessons that inspire students to succeed, working with colleagues to plan engaging lessons and taking responsibility for class progress.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons that inspire students and achieve the best possible outcomes
• Plan engaging lessons with fellow teachers and liaise with colleagues flexibly
• Organise classroom provision and learning resources, create displays and adjust planning and curriculum based on reflection
• Meet with professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists where needed
• Embed the Al Mamoura Academy Teacher and Learner DNA language and attitudes throughout the curriculum
• Record student development using Target Tracker, use assessment data to inform planning and intervention, and give parents feedback at conferences and meetings
• Manage classes effectively, follow the school's behaviour policy and maintain good relationships with pupils
• Work in a curriculum action group and communicate with parents and carers using school systems such as CPOMS

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in the related subject with PGCE or another teacher qualification
• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience
• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
• Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check; offers are subject to satisfactory references and police clearance
