Team Lead - Amara Lounge - Service

About the role

Jumeirah Living Marina Gate, a luxury hotel near Dubai Marina, is looking for a Team Lead for the Amara Lounge - Service. The role leads the Food & Beverage team and coordinates its daily operations, with a focus on service excellence, profitability and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate operational, organizational and administrative activities within the Food & Beverage department, in line with Jumeirah standards, policies and objectives.
• Support the annual business and sales plans, monitor outlet performance and identify ways to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Assist in sales initiatives, marketing campaigns and promotions to grow revenue and engage guests.
• Monitor market trends, guest preferences and competitor activity to find opportunities for service improvement and revenue growth.
• Lead, coach and train team members, manage performance and give regular feedback.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels, plan shifts effectively and ensure the team is ready for operational needs.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in Food & Beverage within hospitality, preferably in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant or upscale lounge.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Ability to lead, coach and motivate multicultural teams with high professional standards.

Required skills

• Strong operational knowledge of restaurant, lounge, bar and banquet operations.
• Understanding of financial controls: budgeting, cost management, inventory control and revenue optimization.
