Team Leader, NG Operations

About the role

The Team Leader, NG Operations will plan, direct and supervise safe and efficient operations of CNG stations and the natural gas network across Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. The role ensures compliance with HSE policies and provides data for effective network control.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operation activities, personnel, and development of policies and procedures for NGD activities.
• Oversee gas PRS, steel, PE network and CNG station procedures, ensuring standards are met.
• Administer Gas Purchase Agreements, joint meter reading, GRNs and custody transfer equipment calibration.
• Act as Authorising Engineer for operation and maintenance activities and support emergency response.
• Lead HSE management processes, participate in HAZOP, HSEIA, HAZID and risk assessments, and review project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8‑10 years of operational experience in oil & gas, with at least 5 years in a senior supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Good English communication; Arabic is a plus.
• Valid UAE driving licence is advantageous.
