Team Leader - Sterile

About the role

Julphar is seeking a Team Leader for its Sterile production line (J‑II) in Ras Al Khaimah. The role combines safety, quality and continuous‑improvement leadership to ensure that all manufacturing activities meet regulatory, EHS and cGMP requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure production activities comply with local regulatory, Julphar EHS and cGMP/GxP standards.
• Monitor and enforce PPE use, conduct departmental safety risk assessments and document mitigation actions.
• Promote a safety culture by encouraging reporting of hazards, near‑misses and incidents; lead investigations when needed.
• Assess safety implications of any change in the production area and support the Technical Operations Director on safety projects.
• Lead the continuous‑improvement framework for the J‑II value stream, benchmark against other streams and track safety KPIs.
• Implement and maintain quality controls, including contamination control strategy (CCS) and quality risk assessments for operations, processes and sterility.
• Document and communicate risk mitigation actions to ensure ongoing compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a sterile manufacturing environment.
• Leadership experience supervising operators and supervisors.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and cGMP/GxP requirements.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
