Team Leader – Tawtheeq

About the role

The Tawtheeq Team Leader will manage the Tawtheeq hub, the central point for the Branch Network to address enquiries related to GCD, AML, RIM relationships and other compliance matters. The role also provides business insight, prepares reviews and reports for management, and drives overall performance and productivity of the branch network.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Tawtheeq hub, ensuring all enquiries are handled within the required turnaround times.
• Ensure the team meets deadlines and complies with UAECB response TAT.
• Handle escalation enquiries and maintain accurate, timely MIS reports.
• Own and maintain the centralized MIS tracker, developing new formats, templates and KPIs for internal communication.
• Support stakeholder needs and assist in updating bank policies based on regulatory changes, audits and examinations.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly presentations of issues and performance reports.
• Apply expertise in information systems to improve action plans and analytical studies of team performance.
• Create and maintain issue logs, summaries and updates.
• Complete all required AML, compliance and related training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Comprehensive knowledge of GCD and compliance regulations for compliance officers.
• Broad understanding of ADIB’s retail operational policies and procedures.
• Fair knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, risks and service standards.
• Strong grasp of anti‑money‑laundering regulations issued by the UAE Central Bank and other authorities.
• Analytical and research skills to define and solve problems.
• Ability to work constructively with team members and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting and tracking.
• Computer skills for data analysis and MIS development.
