Team Leader - Warehouse Operations

About the role

Al Tayer Insignia, the retail division of Al Tayer Group, is hiring a Team Leader for Warehouse Operations in Dubai on a 1-year fixed-term contract. The role supports the Warehouse Supervisor/Store Keeper in Ecom Outbound operations, handling troubleshooting of pick, pack and dispatch issues so that customer orders are fulfilled within the agreed service level agreement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve inventory discrepancies identified from customer orders, liaising with the warehouse inventory team for resolution
• Report customer order issues in the Sales Force application for timely resolution and future reference
• Keep order picking and packing flows in line with the warehouse order handover SLA
• Assist Personal Shoppers in fulfilling VIP orders by reserving stock on request
• Assist in creating bills of lading and communicating about brick-and-mortar transfers
• Guide and motivate subordinates to improve performance and deliver quality work
• Maintain HSE practices to protect property and people, and uphold housekeeping standards in the area of operations

Required profile

• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge of ecom outbound operations, gained through formal training or work experience

Required skills

• Basic MS Office knowledge and written communication
• Working knowledge of a warehouse management system
