Team Leader - Workshop (Commercial Vehicles)

About the role

The Workshop Team Leader will head a group of technicians responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining commercial vehicles. This position combines strong technical expertise with leadership to ensure safety, quality and timely service while delivering high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain commercial trucks and buses, covering mechanical, electrical and air‑conditioning systems.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of technicians, enforcing safety, efficiency and quality standards.
• Allocate jobs, prioritize tasks and monitor progress to guarantee on‑time completion.
• Perform final inspections to ensure work meets manufacturer and company standards.
• Communicate technical issues, updates and solutions clearly to clients and service providers.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records in line with warranty and company policies.
• Identify process gaps, propose improvements and drive operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Volvo, Renault or similar heavy‑duty trucks.
• Proven experience in leading a technical team in a workshop environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, engine mechanics and HVAC for commercial vehicles.
• Ability to handle complex technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
