Technical Analyst - Wealth & Brokerage Platform

About the role

A Technical Analyst is sought to take full ownership of a Wealth or Brokerage platform in Abu Dhabi, replacing an existing resource. The role requires independent ownership of technical analysis, integration coordination and delivery execution across the complete trading lifecycle. It acts as the single technical point of accountability, bridging business, vendors and internal IT teams in a regulated banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical analysis and execution for the Wealth & Brokerage platform.
• Support implementation and integration of Wealth and Investment systems (equities, bonds, funds, retirement products, corporate actions, Robo Advisory) with brokerage trading systems, customer journeys and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the main technical contact for business stakeholders, vendors and IT teams, translating requirements into technical specifications.
• Run stakeholder workshops and document current and future-state process flows.
• Coordinate system and API integrations including OMS, exchanges, market data, settlement and digital channels.
• Support SIT, UAT, pre-production and production delivery, including cutover and go-live readiness.
• Provide first-line production support, incident management and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor system health, SLAs and KPIs, and ensure compliance with security, audit and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 8-10 years of experience in banking or fintech technology roles.
• Strong techno-functional experience in WealthTech and Brokerage Trading.
• Hands-on SQL / PLSQL, REST/SOAP APIs, JavaScript and Postman.
• Experience with middleware and integration platforms (Kafka, SQS, TIBCO).
• Cloud proficiency (AWS and Azure) and strong production support, incident and change management experience.
• Excellent documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience designing, consuming and supporting APIs, microservices and enterprise integration solutions.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy and security architecture in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes and automation tools.
• Knowledge of fintech topics such as blockchain, AI/ML and digital wallets.
