Technical Engineer Civil - Roads And Infrastructure

About the role

Al Marwan Group is seeking a reliable Technical Engineer (Civil) to support the execution of roads and infrastructure projects across the UAE. The role demands a detail‑oriented professional with strong civil engineering knowledge, especially in road construction, to manage documentation, submittals, and technical support for the project team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and inspection‑test plans (ITPs).
• Coordinate with consultants and clients to obtain approvals and track submittal status.
• Maintain submittal logs, approval records, and document control systems.
• Provide technical support to site teams, resolve construction queries, and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and closure of RFIs and NCRs.
• Monitor site works for compliance with approved documents and attend technical meetings.
• Manage registers for drawings, RFIs, submittals, and correspondence, and archive project documents per company and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience on roads and infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards, regulations, and preferably FIDIC contracts.
• RAK project experience is an advantage.
• UAE driving licence preferred but not essential.
